Yp2go.ky Challenge Grand Finale – Family Fun Day Event:

Time: 3 – 6 pm

Rules for the YP2Go.ky Challenge Grand Finale – family fun day event:

• Participation in the grand finale – Family Fun Day event for the YP2Go.ky Challenge Grand Finale is allocated by winning on air on any of the dms Broadcasting radio stations (96.5 CAYROCK, HOT 104.1, 106.1 KISS FM and X107.1) during the “YP2Go.ky Challenge” that is scheduled to run on the morning shows between the 12th and the 23rd of October.

• Once a participant has won on air, they are then eligible to compete to win CI$1,000 at the finale family day event/contest at The Brick House, Grand Harbour on Saturday the 24th October, 2009.

• There will be a maximum of 40 participants in the finale event.

• Each on-air participant will need to register with the indicated dms Broadcasting /Yellow Pages representative between 3 and 4 pm on Saturday, 24th October, at The Brick House.

• Upon registration, each participant will be provided with a Yellow Pages t-shirt and yp2go.ky cap. Each participant is required to wear the Yellow Pages t-shirt and cap during the finale competition.

The FINALE COMPETITION:

• The format of the final competition is as follows:

o Once participants are registered, they will be allocated a “competition heat number” (to be announced at 4 pm)(max 6 rounds).

o A series of heats will be conducted, with the winner of each round going into the grand final competition.

o Each contestant will be allocated a judge, who will stand behind and verify their ‘correct’ answer, and will validate the winners answer.

o A question [“challenge question”] will be asked of the participating group for each heat. These questions will be similar to those asked on air, and require a cell phone with a web browser to answer the question.

o The contestants of that heat are to answer the question as quickly as possible and the contestant who reaches the correct answer first will be judged the winner of that heat.

o Should a contestant come to the wrong answer, after announcing they are first, that question will be voided and another question will be asked.

o Winners of each heat move through to the grand final.

o There will be a maximum of 6 competitors in the grand final.

o The grand final will consist of one final challenge question.

• Each contestant will be allocated a judge, who will stand behind and verify their ‘correct’ answer, and will validate the winners answer.

• Judges will determine the final winner of the KY$1,000 in the final round – i.e. the first person to answer the grand final challenge question correctly.

• The judge’s decision is final and will not be open for dispute.

• The cheque will be presented on location at the finale party, on Saturday, October 24th, immediately following the final round of competition.

• The winning participant is required to participate in a press photo with the Cayman Islands Yellow Pages representative and dms broadcasting representative, to show cheque presentation.
